The Second District station is reachable by Massachusetts Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue Metro Buses. The closest Metro Rail Station is Cleveland Park on the Red Line.
The Second District spans much of the Northwest quadrant of the DC, stretching West from 17th Street to the Potomac River and North to Chevy Chase. In addition to Chevy Chase, the Second District includes the neighborhoods of Cleveland Park, Dupont Circle, Foggy Bottom, Friendship Heights, Georgetown, Palisades, Spring Valley, and Tenleytown, to name a few. Lined with shops and restaurants, Connecticut Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue serve as the main commercial arteries of the Second District. The Second District is also home to some of the DC’s most awe-inspiring and natural landmarks, including the National Cathedral, Rock Creek Park, and the National Zoo. Dozens of foreign embassies are located within the Second District as well.
