The Anacostia Metrorail station (Green Line) is the closest station to the seventh district station.

The Seventh District spans much of the Southeast quadrant of DC. The Seventh District stretches west from Southern Avenue to the Anacostia River and up to Anacostia Road, Good Hope Road, and Naylor Road. The Seventh District includes the lively communities of Anacostia, Barry Farm, Congress Heights, Naylor Gardens, Shipley Terrace, and Washington Highlands. The district is home to historic landmarks such as Fort Stanton Park and the Frederick Douglas Home, as well as Bolling Air Force Base.
