Washington DC defense attorney, David Benowitz describes his beginnings in the legal profession, as well as the passion he felt, and still feels for protecting his clients’ rights and future.

David Benowitz: When I first graduated from college I did an internship at a place called the Public Defender Service in Washington D.C., which is basically looking for aggressive people with cars to investigate homicide cases, and that fit me to a T. So I started investigating homicide cases for defense attorneys and from the very first minute I walked in the door I knew that that was what I was going to do with my life. I just fell in love with it, so that continues to this day. I started doing that in 1992 and I haven’t stopped.
